First Login

After installing WifiCone, access the admin panel from any browser on the same network.


Accessing the Admin Panel

Open a browser and go to:

http://<device-ip>/admin/login.html

To find your device's IP address from the device itself:

hostname -I | awk '{print $1}'

Default Credentials

Field Value
Username admin
Password admin

Change your password immediately after logging in. Go to the top-right menu → Profile.


Admin Panel Overview

After logging in you will land on the Dashboard. The sidebar on the left gives access to all sections:

Sales & Revenue

  • Dashboard — live stats: sessions, sales today, CPU/memory/disk, network traffic
  • Sales — full transaction history with CSV export

WiFi Management

  • Rates — create and manage rate profiles (pricing, time/data limits)
  • Sessions — configure session behavior (auto-pause, reconnect, free trial)
  • Vouchers — generate and manage voucher codes

Payments

  • Payment Portals — configure coin slot, bill acceptor, GCash, Maya, Coins.ph

Network

  • Network — LAN/WAN configuration, DHCP, static IP
  • VLANs — virtual LAN setup
  • Bridges — network bridge configuration
  • PPPoE — PPPoE client setup and connected clients
  • WiFi AP — wireless access point settings
  • Bandwidth — per-user speed limits
  • QoS — traffic shaping and quality of service
  • Traffic Graph — live and historical traffic charts

Sub-Vendo

  • Sub-Vendo — manage sub-operator IP ranges and accounts

Device

  • Device — hardware info, license status, activation, restart/shutdown
  • Remote Mgmt — remote access configuration
  • Customers — connected device and customer management

System

  • Updates — check and install software updates
  • Backup — backup and restore configuration and data
  • Logs — system log viewer
  • Cron — scheduled task management
  • Database — database management tools
  • Users — admin user accounts
  • Time — system time and NTP settings
  • Hardware — detailed hardware information

First-Time Setup Checklist

After your first login, complete these steps in order:

  1. Change admin password — Profile → Change Password
  2. Configure your LAN interface — Network → select your LAN interface, set IP and DHCP range
  3. Configure your WAN interface — Network → select WAN, set DHCP or static IP
  4. Create rate profiles — Rates → New Profile (set price, duration, bandwidth)
  5. Connect payment hardware — Payment Portals → enable coin slot or bill acceptor
  6. Activate your license — Device → enter your license key and email
